Creating Value Through Discovery and Innovation

At Cartwheel Group, we don’t just explore resources — we build sustainable, long-term value.

Focused on Value Creation Through Systematic Discovery and Sustainable Innovation

Cartwheel Group is committed to creating sustainable shareholder value through disciplined exploraaCartwheel Group Pty Ltd is a dual-focus resource company creating long-term value through systematic mineral exploration and sustainable processing technologies. With proven discovery expertise validated by the Carrapateena copper-gold-uranium deposit (acquired and developed by BHP), we combine Dr. O’Driscoll’s lineament analysis methodology with a portfolio of 45+ patented sustainable processing technologies to address critical mineral supply chain challenges.

Our flagship Lake Gairdner Exploration Project spans 5,534 km² in South Australia’s world-class Gawler Craton, representing one of the most significant undeveloped critical mineral opportunities in the region. Concurrently, our Resources division advances cleaner, more efficient mineral processing solutions that reduce environmental impact while enhancing economic viability across the mining value chain.ion, technological innovation, and responsible development. Our strategy integrates geological expertise, engineering excellence, and collaborative partnerships to unlock the full potential of both our mineral assets and our technology portfolio.

our corporate strategy

Four Pillars

Exploration Excellence

Applying Dr. O’Driscoll’s proven systematic methodology to identify and delineate world-class mineral deposits in the Gawler Craton. Our track record—validated by the Carrapateena discovery and BHP’s subsequent US$1+ billion development investment—demonstrates our ability to make commercially significant discoveries in complex geological environments.

Technology Commercialization

Advancing sustainable processing solutions from concept through pilot-scale demonstration to commercial licensing. Our patent portfolio addresses critical industry challenges—rare earth processing, tailings valorization, emissions reduction—creating licensing revenue opportunities while supporting the mining industry’s transition to lower-impact operations.

Capital and Resource Efficiency

Deploying exploration and development capital strategically to maximize technical and economic returns. Our phased exploration approach, technology validation framework, and partnership-oriented structure ensure efficient use of resources while maintaining optionality for value creation.

Strategic Partnerships and Responsibility

Engaging constructively with mining industry leaders, Indigenous communities, government stakeholders, and shareholders through transparent communication and mutual value creation. Our Advisory Board concept for Lake Gairdner exploration and technology licensing model for Cartwheel Resources both emphasize collaborative value creation rather than isolated development.

Rodolfo (Rudy) Gomez

Fellow, Australasian Institute of Mining and Metallurgy

Rudy’s career has been shaped by a simple realization: finding valuable deposits is only half the job. As an exploration geologist, he learned to see patterns others missed—developing approaches that led to significant mineral discoveries over four decades. But each discovery raised the same question: how do you extract these resources responsibly? That question pulled him into an entirely different domain. He began designing cleaner processing systems, developing water treatment solutions, engineering more efficient extraction methods. The work resulted in 45 international patents—and a different way of thinking about the entire mineral value chain.
